OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Cooler and breezy conditions are in store for your Thursday! We’re starting off the day with temperatures in the 40s – about 20° cooler than temperatures this time yesterday. Winds are coming in from the NNW 10-20 mph, with gusts 30-35 mph possible today.
We’ll see highs just in the mid to upper-50s for the Metro; slightly warmer temperatures in the low-60s off to the west. Some spotty showers are possible this afternoon and evening, before we dry out and clear out tonight.
We’ll start Friday near 40°, with highs very seasonable – in the mid-60s – by the afternoon. Plenty of sunshine expected Friday and Saturday! Southerly winds will really crank up the heat Saturday, with highs near the 80° mark!
As of right now, we’re looking at mostly dry conditions for at least the first half of Easter Sunday. Some spotty showers are possible by evening, with off and on rain chances taking us through the beginning of next workweek. Highs will be in the 60s.
