The Maha Music Festival headlined some great music in Aksarben Village this weekend.

Thousands visited Stinson Park to enjoy live music and local cuisine.

This year marked the 10th time Maha has taken over the music scene for a weekend, to organizers decided to go even bigger to celebrate.

The festival was a two day event for the first time.

Several bands started playing just after 12 p.m. on Saturday, taking over two stages.

Music draws the visitor, but there's much more to enjoy at Maha between rides, attractions, drinks and local food vendors.

Organizers said they worked day and night preparing to make the anniversary one to remember.

"The dedication is incredible. It's a lot of sleepless nights. A lot of blood, sweat and tears occasionally, but it really is the care for the community and the excitement that people bring to it," said festival director Lauren Martin.

Organizers said they had over 700 volunteers on Saturday and 80 that prepare for the event year-round.

Weezer headlines the festival at 10:30 p.m. Saturday and the festival ends at midnight.
