LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) -- Nebraska wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr. has been cited for marijuana possession.

The citation was issued Friday.

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police said they were called to the Selleck dorm at 3:47 p.m. Friday to investigate a report of the smell of marijuana. They found Johnson.

The 18-year-old Husker receiver was allegedly found with a bag with 3.9 grams of marijuana, then UNLPD says officers found a binder with another .6 grams and a glass bong. In total, police say 4.5 grams were found and Johnson was cited for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.

The police report indicates that Johnson was the only person in the room when they arrived.

Keyshawn Johnson Jr. was a highly touted recruit and son of former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson.
