Highway 275 now open following ice jams on the Elkhorn River

There's good news and bad news when it comes to that ice jam on the Elkhorn River.

The good? Highway 275 is back open.

The bad? Experts don't expect that jam to pass anytime soon.

In Dodge County, near Scribner, drivers had to travel a little farther to run into the flooding happening where the Highway 275 bridge crosses the Elkhorn River.

, but the National Weather Service tweeted out yesterday that the ice jam isn't expected to break up soon.
