Glenwood man facing drug charges after traffic stop

GLENWOOD, Iowa -- A Glenwood man is being held on $115,300 bond facing drug charges after a Sunday traffic stop.

Authorities say David Lloyd Richey, 56, was pulled over at 11:45 p.m. near South Hazel Street and Arnold Street in Glenwood.

In searching the vehicle, the deputy who made the stop found 28 grams of methamphetamine; 23 grams of marijuana; drug paraphernalia and ammunition.

Richey was arrested for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Deliver; Failure to Affix a Drug Tax Stamp; Felon in Possession of a Firearm/Ammunition and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was jailed in Mills County.
