Glenwood man arrested as latest suspect in January murder

GLENWOOD, Iowa (WOWT) -- A Glenwood, Iowa man has been arrested in connection with the January murder of Adam Angeroth in Council Bluffs. Ryan McDonald, 25, was arrested in Glenwood early Friday morning.

McDonald is accused of First Degree Murder.

He was taken into custody by Glenwood Police on a warrant from Pottawattamie County and he is one of several suspects in the murder. Nicholas Haner, of Harlan, Iowa; Liam Stec, of Omaha and Xavier Smith-Catchings are also in custody in the case.

Police were called to an apartment on North First Street on January 24, 2019 where they found Angeroth's body. An autopsy confirmed evidence of foul play including blunt force trauma and knife wounds.
