Ex-Husker Maurice Washington sentenced for revenge porn in California

Former Nebraska Huskers running back Maurice Washington is behind bars in California after pleading "no contest" to charges relating to revenge porn, a local court official confirmed Friday.

The

official said Washington pled guilty Thursday for “revenge porn” in California. Previous allegations stated that he sent a 10-second long video of an ex-girlfriend’s sexual assault that was recorded while she was still a minor.

Washington was also given two years probation and forbidden from having any contact with the victim.

He was booked into jail Thursday, court records show.

Corrections listed his release date as March 20. No bail is allowed.
