Dozens attend pro-life rally outside Bellevue health clinic
More than 30 people with a pro-life organization called Life Runners were in Bellevue Saturday protesting abortion outside the Bellevue Health Clinic.
Saturday was the closing rally for 40 Days of Life, where the Life Runners spent 40 days outside facilities that provide abortions in the metro.
The group said they hoped to meet with women as they enter the clinic and tell them they have other options.
People from Nebraska and Iowa joined the rally saying that it is a country-wide effort to end abortions.
Patrick Castle founded Life Runners and said their mission is to remember the unborn.
"I can tell you with confidence that life begins at conception, so from a biology standpoint, from a theology standpoint, let alone the philosophy and political sides of it, we know we need to stand up for the lease of these," Castle said.
6 News reached out to the health clinic. They did not provide a statement on the event.
