OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Do Space on 72nd and Dodge with MCC are helping to turn kids into engineers, one step at a time. One of the ways they are doing that is by helping kids build drones and robots.
Some of the things Instructors at Do Space are teaching them are on par with what college age students are learning, yet the children have no problem absorbing it.
The instructors say that passing on their knowledge to kids is helping to make the world a better place.
"The ability to do good is really limited by how much knowledge you have. So the more knowledge they have now the more they'll be able to apply in the future." said Walker Arce, an instructor at Do Space
While the instructors say their boundless creativity and imagination makes kids ideal future engineers the kids are just having fun learning all that they can. Like 12-year-old Tim Songster.
"A lot of good things come out of toying around and finding something that works." said Songster
The classes at Do Space are offered by Metropolitan Community College, you can enroll for one on their website.
