David's Forecast - Chilly overnight, mild Monday

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A nice and quiet day across the area on Sunday. We saw plenty of sunshine in the morning hours with clouds rolling in during in the afternoon. Temperatures were mild, though a few degrees below average for the time of year. Most areas topped out in the middle and upper 40s. Tonight, cool and dry conditions will continue. A few clouds continue to move through this evening, but should clear out overnight with temperatures falling into the middle and upper 20s. Winds will be light, so there may be a bit of frost in the morning.

A few more clouds on the way for Monday will hold temperatures down a couple degrees, but continued dry weather is expected. We will see a chance for some rain or snow enter the forecast by Tuesday morning. Temperatures will be near freezing, so some snow is possible early Tuesday morning. However, by mid-morning temperatures should warm enough to see mainly rain, and any snow will melt. Rainfall amounts should be less than a half inch, with some ares not seeing any rain at all. Rain will be light enough it will not impact existing flooding conditions. Rain showers will move out by Tuesday evening, with dry weather returning for Wednesday.

Mild weather will roll back in for the second half of the week, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures climbing to near 60 by Thursday and Friday. Our next chance for light rain comes in on Saturday.
