There is some good news in the forecast today! The rain and snow has moved away and we'll see sunshine return to the region later today. Condition are still cold and breezy this morning with gusts to around 30mph possible. Winds will relax as we head through the rest of Friday, with temperatures climbing into the 40s by this afternoon. We should top out around 44 degrees here in the metro. Quiet weather is expect overnight with clear skies and light winds, but it will be cold again with lows falling to around 24.

More dry weather is on the way for the weekend as well. Partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid to upper 40s expected for Saturday and Sunday. A warming trend will take hold by the start of next week. Temperatures should push into the middle or even upper 50s by the middle of the week, and we could even see 60 degree weather return to the forecast for several days next week!
