Crimestoppers looking for vehicle thief involved in hit-and-run

Sarpy County authorities are circulating photos of a man they say stole a truck in Millard earlier this month hours before a hit-and-run crash involving that vehicle.

The truck, reported stolen during the early hours of Jan. 5, was recovered by Omaha Police that afternoon after a hit-and-run crash near 42nd and H streets. The man in the photos "was seen exiting the truck and leaving the scene," according to
