Crime stoppers shoplifting suspect arrested

A suspect with a familiar name found herself behind bars in Sarpy County. Chalonda Jenkins was arrested after a shoplifting incident.
Police say she altered price tags before buying products from the Ralph Lauren at Nebraska Crossing. The loss for the store was between $1,500 and $5,000.
WOWT 6 News covered that incident as a Crime Stoppers Alert. After sharing the surveillance footage, an arrest warrant was issued for Jenkins.
She was booked into jail. Jenkins is the ex-wife of death row inmate Nikko Jenkins recently sentenced to death for four counts of 1st degree murder.
