Today's developments

6:45 p.m. -- President Trump plated golf for the first time since the pandemic began. Reports say his return to the course is a further sign he wants the country up and running again.

6 p.m. -- The state has reported a total of 11,989 cases as of 6 p.m. Saturday and 147 deaths.

5:30 p.m. -- Med 88 in West Omaha began it's antibody testing today in an effort to gather more data for epidemiologists.

4:15 p.m. -- The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department has announced 22 new cases of COVID-19. The community total is 1,027.

3:18 p.m. -- The Pottawattamie County Public Health reported 7 new cases and one death Saturday.

2:05 p.m. -- The NBA is talking with The Walt Disney Company on a single-site scenario for a resumption of play in Central Florida in late July, the clearest sign yet that the league believes the season can continue amid the coronavirus pandemic.

1:30 p.m. -- Many Americans are remaining cautious over the holiday weekend as cases in the nation pass 1.6 million.

12:15 p.m. -- The state of Iowa has reported 419 new cases for Saturday with a statewide total of 16,767. The state also reports an additional 26 COVID related deaths. The dates of those deaths fall between May 9 to May 22.

11:30 a.m. -- The Douglas County Health Department has confirmed an additional 136 cases and three new deaths.

5:30 a.m. -- China reported 0 new cases of coronavirus Saturday for the first time while India and Latin America see surges.

2:05 a.m. -- Officials around the world are warning of email scammers taking advantage during the pandemic with cybercrimes on the rise at a 600 percent increase.
