Colorado assault suspect tracked to Red Oak and parked in jail

A man wanted on sexual assault charges in Denver is behind bars in Red Oak, Iowa. Jacoby Tyrell Tubbs was located and arrested based on information from Denver police.

Tubbs is being held on a Fugitive From Justice charge pending extradition to Colorado where he is wanted on two felony warrants.

He's accused of Sexual Assault With Force and Sexual Assault Aid and Abetting by Another.

Denver Police developed information that Tubbs was in the Red Oak area. Authorities there located him in the 1600 block of East Summit Street and took him into custody.

Tubbs was taken to the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Center where he is being held without bond pending an extradition hearing.
