COLUMBUS, Neb. (WOWT) - Recent cold weather caused an ice jam where the Loup River meets the Platte River near Columbus earlier this week.

The Nebraska Emergency Management Agency shared drone footage of the ice jam, courtesy of the Nebraska Department of Natural Resources.

Most of the confluence was packed with ice flow moving down the rivers.

The drone footage can be viewed here.
