We're watching clouds and showers slowly clear the metro, but it sure is taking its time.

Still dealing with some stubborn clouds and light rain across the metro as of midday. Areas without clouds and rain are warming up quickly, but areas underneath it are not budging much.

A warm front should continue to lift northward with time today, and this should push the clouds and rain north too.

Looking at the big picture, most areas will warm into the upper 80s to lower 90s. Locally, cooler spots will be from Omaha to the northeast. We'll still likely warm into the 80s, but we'll have to get rid of these clouds quickly to achieve anything higher than 85 or so.

Still watching a round of storms late tonight/early Saturday morning, and then another round possibly Saturday afternoon. As of now, we are still in First Alert Day mode for tomorrow due to the high impact even minor weather could have on several big events going on this weekend.

Have a great one!
