Police identify victim of Friday night homicide

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha Police have identified the victim of a deadly shooting late Friday night as Charles Toles, 30. They say a second person was injured by gunfire.

Omaha Police are investigating a deadly shooting near 18th and Emmet.

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation near 18th and Emmet around 10:45 p.m. Friday. They found Toles dead at the scene and a 23-year-old suffering from a gunshot injury.

The investigation of the incident continues.
