Blake Shelton, Lumineers postpone Omaha concerts; Cher delays Lincoln date

Already in town to make good on his concert date in Omaha, country music artist Blake Shelton tweeted to fans Thursday that he had to postpone.

His announcement joining a number of

in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Warner Music Nashville released a statement Thursday announcing Shelton's shows for Omaha, Denver, Rosemont, Milwaukee and Detroit have been canceled.

Previously purchased tickets for those concerts will be honored when rescheduled in spring 2021.

Lumnieers reschedule

Originally set to take the stage at CHI Health Center this weekend, The Lumineers have rescheduled their Omaha concert for Sept. 22. Tickets will be honored on the new date, but refunds are available through Ticketmaster.

Cher postpones tour dates

Cher postponed her "Here We Go Again" tour dates, including her Lincoln stop originally slated for April 20 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

According to a news release from the venue, Current tickets will be honored for the new date: Nov. 12. The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. at the arena, as previously scheduled.
