Bellevue West High School evacuated after reported bomb threat

BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) -- A report of a bomb forced an evacuation for students and staff at Bellevue West High School on Tuesday.

Bellevue Police were called to the school before 10 a.m. after a 911 call. Nearly 1,700 students waited outside as bomb sniffing dogs walked through the entire building. A short audio message was sent to parents Tuesday morning to alert them of the situation.

No bomb was found.

Bellevue police are looking onto who called in the threat to 911.
