OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha's seventh annual Beer Week kicked off Friday, and people were out and about all weekend enjoying some good brews.
The week includes something for everyone, with everything from tastings to beer olympics.
Saturday was the bus tour, which provided a way to visit a bunch of breweries and sample beers while staying safe on the roads.
Organizers said Beer Week is a great way to get away from a favorite bar or neighborhood and experience all that Omaha has to offer.
The event is also an opportunity to support local businesses.
"We're not only seeing local people take notice of Omaha Beer Week but beer aficionados from around the country that come here to get a taste of what's going on in Nebraska," Bill Baburek said.
Beer Week runs through Feb. 25. The full list of events can be found on the event's website.
