5 family members of recent coronavirus case test positive in Douglas County

The Douglas County number of COVID-19 cases jumped to nine after

also tested presumptively positive.

The five individuals have been self-quarantined for multiple days, according to the DCHD. They have not required hospitalization.

These cases are not considered community spread, and an investigation is underway by DCHD epidemiologists to see whether any other exposure occurred.

"Public Health officials continue to believe the risk to the general public remains low," the DCHD release states, encouraging self-monitoring.
