OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) -- During the month of February, 17 traffic deaths occurred on Nebraska roadways, according to data collected by the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Eleven of the occupants were not wearing a seatbelt. Eleven occupants were in rural locations. Three fatalities were on the interstate, 10 on other highways, and 4 on local roads, according to a release.
One of the fatalities was a pedestrian and two were motorcyclists.
