OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - After a weekend of highs in the 50s, temperatures in the 70s return for the start of the workweek!
We’re starting off Monday in the 40s, with 10-15 mph winds coming in from the southeast. Winds will shift to the south-southwest throughout the day. This, paired with more sunshine, will allow highs to top out in the 70s!
More clouds will build in by evening, with the chance for a stray shower tonight north of the Metro.
Partly cloudy skies are on tap Tuesday, with highs back in the 70s. The chance for showers and storms moves back in Tuesday night, with a First Alert Day Wednesday. The best chance to see strong to severe storms looks to be Wednesday evening, especially south.
Rain will linger Thursday, especially off to the east and southeast. Temperatures will drop Thursday, with highs in the low-50s. Expect windy conditions as well.
Good Friday will be dry, but a bit breezy. Temperatures begin the climb for Easter Weekend with highs on Friday in the low-60s. Temperatures will warm back into the 70s Saturday and Sunday. Saturday looks beautiful! Showers and storms look possible by evening on Easter Sunday.
