Tim Clark is the host of Heartland Focus.

Tim Clark is an Omaha native who graduated from Benson High School and the University of South Dakota, Vermillion. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education.

Tim enhanced his musical and performing skills while touring with the International group “Up With People.” While on tour, he visited more than 11 countries including Germany, Switzerland and the former Soviet Union.

Upon returning to Omaha, Tim began his career with the YMCA as a YouthNet Outreach Worker and was later promoted to the Director of the YouthNet program.

He served as the Executive Director of the Butler-Gast YMCA and the South Omaha Community YMCA.

Tim also served under former Mayor of Omaha P. J. Morgan as the Executive Director of the Omaha Community Partnership and Staff Advisor to the Mayor. He is currently the President/CEO of Clark Connection Group -- a project management, public relations, and organization/business capacity building company.

Clark Connection Group is the event management for the Omaha Riverfront Jazz & Blues Festival. He spent three years as the Vice President of Member Services for the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce.

Tim serves currently on the board of Girls, Inc., 100 Black Men of Omaha, and NorthStar. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Girls Inc., and 2nd term President/Chairman of the 100 Black Men of Omaha.

Tim is married to Dinah and is the proud father of a daughter, Jessica and a son, Brice.
