Pratto’s grand slam lifts Storm Chasers over St. Paul

PAPILLION, Neb. (WOWT) - The Omaha Storm Chasers won its series finale against St. Paul on Sunday 9 to 6.

Omaha took an early lead, but quickly found themselves trailing by four runs.

In the 5th inning, Bobby Witt Jr. hit a home run to left-center field that trimmed the lead to three.

Then in the 7th, the Chasers loaded the bases up

The Saints gave up a bases-loaded walk.

That’s when Nick Pratto stepped up the the plate and crushed a go-ahead grand slam to make it 8-6 in Omaha’s favor.

The win helped the Storm Chasers finish the series on a positive note after dropping four of the first five games.

Omaha’s record is currently 42-28, which leads the Triple-A East-Midwest division.
