Two Sarpy County men jailed on ‘mutual fight’ charges

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Bellevue Police jailed two men at about the same time on suspicion of the same crimes.
Jeremy Gindulis, 22, was booked into Sarpy County Jail on charges of driving under the influence, obstructing a peace officer and assault by mutual consent. Layne Huisenga,18, was also booked into jail on assault by mutual consent, obstructing a peace officer and DUI.

6 News asked a Bellevue Police Department spokesman what that means. The spokesman described it as two people who could choose to walk away from a fight in a public space but instead decide to throw punches and fight.
Both were ordered held on bond.
