Rusty’s First Alert Forecast - More afternoon storms and downpours may get in the way
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Tuesday morning starts out much like Monday morning with scattered clouds and 60s & 70s on the map. Much like yesterday the morning hours should be dry but more showers and storms are likely to develop this afternoon.
Those spotty showers and storms that pop up after noon are likely to meander through the area just as slow as yesterday and lead to downpours for some. Don’t be surprised by rain any time from noon through sunset.
Nothing is expected to be severe but downpours, lightning and a few cold air funnels are possible from anything that develops.
A few more showers and storms are possible Wednesday afternoon and early evening but most of those will likely be across southern portions of the viewing area and not as widespread.
The rest of the weekend is likely to be dry with highs in the 80s with 90s making a return for the second half of the holiday weekend.
