OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - 3Ball Omaha left Springfield Massachusetts last weekend with gold medals hanging around their necks and as the best men’s 3x3 basketball team in the United States.

The team of Dylan Travis, Steffon Bradford, Trey Bardsley, and Klaye Rowe qualified for the FIBA 3x3 World Tour with the win.

In the tournament, the went 6-0 and beat the three-time defending champs and top-ranked team in the process.

“We just found a way to win every single time. Someone would step up. Whether it was Stef, or me, or Trey, or klay, we made plays,” Travis said.

“We went in confident, went in very confident,” former Husker Steffon Bradford said. “So, that made the experience even better for me, knowing that we can beat the top teams that were in it.”

Winning also set the group of four up nicely for a chance to be selected to play in the FIBA 3x3 World Cup and FIBA 3x3 Americup.

Both events are set for 2022.

They start a ten-city tour on July 10th that runs through October.

They’ll have more chances to qualify for other events on the pro circuit.
