OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Today, various pop-up COVID-19 clinics are at events like the Taste of North Omaha, World Refugee Day, and the Juneteenth event at the Malcolm X Memorial Foundation.

One clinic that is also going on this weekend is outside between the CHI Health Center and the ballpark. Officials hope they can get some people to roll up their sleeves on their way to the game.

People are able to just walk up, provide an address and ID, and then they can get their shot. The goal is to give people access to the vaccine from anywhere all over the country.

“We want to be able to provide vaccines to everyone and we want to help reach that 70% goal that Biden has put out for the nation and so we are offering free vaccines to anyone. Doesn’t matter where you’re from, you can be from any state, we are happy to have you here,” said Leah Casanaee, Event Organizer.

The vaccine clinic will be outside the CHI Health Center again tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
