Omaha Police respond to 3 shootings overnight
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha Police were called to three reports of more gunfire overnight on Omaha streets.
Shootings occurred in different areas — 30th and Martin, 28th and Ida, and 30th and Ames — just minutes apart.
At 12:03 a.m. Friday, police were dispatched to Howell’s BP at 30th and Martin on a “shots fired” call, according to a news release. Officers found evidence of a shooting in the area but no victim.
A short time later, a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound arrived at Immanuel Hospital, then transferred to Bergan Mercy with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, and OPD is tracking two vehicles possibly seen in the area.
