Heat makes a splash in Bellevue pools

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The weather is having its way with Bellevue pools and their lifeguard shortage.

The city announced Wednesday that it is closing Dowding Pool, one of its three pools, on Thursday to shift staff in anticipation that temperatures, predicted to be over 100 degrees, will have crowds of people flocking to water.
