OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The City of Omaha has announced its sixth full service drop off recycle site on Friday.

The new recycling site will be in the parking lot of West Lanes Bowling Center on 72nd Street from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Since this is a full service drop off site, glass bottles and jars are allowed with the recyclables in separate containers.

There will be a purple container for the glass jars and bottles and a green container that is separate for the other recyclable items. Officials say items that aren’t put in the correct container and left on the ground is considering illegal dumping and there could be fines and cleanup cost.

Our sixth full service recycling drop-off location opens Monday at 151 N. 72nd Street. Full service sites accept glass...
