Omaha Police: Man arrested for leaving scene of bar shooting in February

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Omaha Police on Tuesday made an arrest in a February shooting outside an Omaha bar, according to a news release.

Brandon Mass, 24, was booked into Douglas County Corrections for allegedly leaving the scene of an injury or death accident Feb. 28 outside Moe and Curly’s Pub at 10th Street and Capitol Avenue.

On Feb. 28, officers responded to a reported shooting outside the pub and found multiple victims at the scene, including two people who were hit by gunfire. Suaquel Hogan, 21, was hit by a car on Capitol Avenue. Another person had minor injuries unrelated to the shooting. All of the injured were taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where Hogan was pronounced dead.

Omaha Police made the arrest with the assistance of the OPD Gang Unit, the release stated.
