Omaha man often arrested after lewd conduct reports now facing drug charge
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - An Omaha man who had been arrested 22 times for lewd conduct will make his first appearance in Douglas County court Tuesday morning on a meth possession charge in connection with an incident Sunday at an Omaha hotel.
Anthony A. Triplett, 35, was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Sunday after Omaha Police officers responded to a complaint that a man was exposing himself at the Fairfield Inn & Suites at 1501 Nicholas St. in Omaha.
Officers located a man, identified as Triplett, on the second floor of the motel with his pants down and watching a pornographic video on his telephone, police said. A witness told police he had seen Triplett wearing no pants, holding his penis, and with a shirt over his head.
Officers arrested Triplett and found a glass pipe with burnt residue in his pants pocket and a .46 gram baggie of methamphetamine, weighing .46 grams, in his left sock, police said. Triplett was booked for alleged lewd conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of meth, according to the arrest affidavit.
