Inmate missing from Lincoln Community Corrections

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services announced an inmate missing Monday night from Community Corrections Center – Lincoln.

Officials say, Mia Montes, 23, didn’t come back to CCC-L but confirmed that she did leave her job today. She is described as 5′3, 120 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

They also say Montes’s electronic monitoring device was later found on the side road and she started her four to eight years sentence on Nov. 27, 2019, for multiple charges in Fillmore County.

Charges include DUI and many drug-related charges. She is eligible for parole on Sept. 12, 2021, and has a pending release on Sept. 13, 2023.

Officers advise calling the Nebraska State Patrol or local authorities on giving information.
