TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - Two men are now in custody in connection with a fatal shooting last month in Topeka.

Police say the suspects were arrested Sunday on suspicion of first-degree murder. It wasn’t immediately clear whether the men have been formally charged. Both were arrested without incident. The shooting happened about 4:45 a.m. May 27, killing 49-year-old Aaron Shepherd of Topeka.
