FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (WOWT) - Nebraska and Arkansas will play a 7th and final game in the Fayetteville regional on Monday.

The winner advances to a super regional.

The Huskers forced the game after beating Arkansas 5-3 on Sunday night, the win came on the heels of an 18-4 win over NJIT in an elimination game earlier in the day.

The NJIT game featured an inside-the-park home run for Cam Chick.

In the game against the Razorbacks, NU took the lead off of a Griffin Everitt hit a two-RBI single in the 5th inning.

Nebraska relied heavily on Big Ten Player of the Year Spencer Schwellenbach.

It was off of his bat that the game became tied at 3, and his arm that pitched 4.2 innings of relief down the stretch.

This is Nebraska’s first regional final since 2007.

Monday’s game is scheduled for 6 p.m.
