Bellevue Police investigate Sunday shooting

BELLEVUE, Neb. (WOWT) - Bellevue Police are investigating a shooting Sunday that injured a 26-year-old man.

According to a news release, Bellevue Police and Fire departments were called Sunday to the area of 16th Avenue and South Galvin Road, where officers found a man with a gunshot wound in his abdomen, the release stated. The man was taken to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for treatment.

Police are still investigating the motive for the shooting and looking for the possible suspect(s). Anyone with information about the incident should call the Bellevue Police Department at 402-293-3100.
