Rusty’s Morning Forecast - Fog to start but we’ll see more melting this afternoon

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - We’re starting the day with more fog in the area, especially near and east of the river. Watch for slick spots in the areas where fog is the thickest. I do expect it to gradually improve from west to east during the morning. The Dense Fog Advisory is in place through 9am today.

The rest of the day will feature some warming and melting heading into the afternoon. That sunshine will feel pretty good.

We’ll likely start with some fog again Tuesday but it too will burn off during the morning leaving us with another afternoon of melting.

Wednesday is a First Alert Day due to the threat of slowly accumulating snow set to move into the area in the morning hours and linger through the afternoon. 1-3″ of snow is likely in many parts of the viewing area with some impacts to the commutes.
