OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services announced on Saturday that an inmate from Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L) is missing.

On Jan. 1st, Anna Berg, 28, didn’t return from her work assignment.

Berg started her sentence on Feb. 3rd, 2020, and was sentenced to three years in prison on two counts of possession of methamphetamine.

Her potential release date was June 21, 2021.

Officials say the electronic monitoring device Berg was wearing was found inside a trash can just north of 27th and Cornhusker in Lincoln.

Also, they say Berg is five feet and 190 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

If anyone has any information on Berg they’re asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
