Rusty’s Morning Forecast - Freezing fog and frigid air to start 2021

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - As we start 2021, we have areas of patchy dense fog and subfreezing temperatures. That will lead to areas of freezing fog and potential slick spots all morning long.
Clouds will struggle to break all day and that will limit our warming. Highs will only reach the lower 20s with a light north wind.
I expect more fog to develop tonight into Saturday morning as temps drop into the teens for the Saturday morning low. I am concerned that the morning fog Saturday will be more widespread and therefore tougher to get rid of during the day. that likely keeps highs in the 20s once again.
Sunshine should be a little more prevalent Sunday and lead to a little more warming.
