OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Chilly morning air is in place to start off your holiday weekend. We’ll have sunshine with a few high clouds and will be able to warm into the upper 40s later today. Northwest winds could gust to near 20 mph at times this afternoon too.

Friday should be just as comfortable with highs again in the upper 40s after a chilly start in the 20s. Saturday still looks to be the warmest day of the weekend with highs in the upper 50s.

A strong cold front is likely to move through Sunday causing NNW wind gusts to hit 40 mph at times. That means the high in the mid 40s will likely happen around noon and temps will fall all afternoon. Colder highs in the 30s will be with us Monday.
