(WOWT) - Here is a summary of new cases and other COVID-19 stats reported today by health officials across Nebraska & Iowa.

Douglas County update

The Douglas County Health Department has reported 226 new cases for Saturday. The total number of cases has reached 18,053.

One new death was reported as being a woman in her 60s. The number of deaths in Douglas County is now 203.

There have been 13,509 reported recoveries.

Lincoln update

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department announced Saturday their 31st death related to COVID-19l. The individual was a woman in her 80s.

A total of 122 new cases were also reported in the area, bringing the community’s total to 7,411.
