Second Fridays Downtown in Council Bluffs

Historic downtown Council Bluffs.
Second Fridays Downtown celebrates Art, Music, Wine and shopping, and happens the second Friday of every month between 6 and 9 pm. Transportation is provided on Ollie the Trolley between the Second Friday's Downtown venues.

Delightful music by Cello Dave, and Akoostic II. Prairie Crossing and Whispering Hills wine can be sampled at the galleries along with painting demonstrations on the street. Unique shopping at The Frame Gallery, the inventor of the “box cut”, Recreations from the Edge, consisting of hats and jewelry, Light House Gardens, wonderful plants and flowers, and the Harvest Studio, an eclectic botanical art. Performances by the “Lotus Dancers” and, of course, plenty to eat at the Bayliss Bistro and Ellie’s Deli.

Second Friday’s Downtown is rapidly becoming Council Bluffs most popular monthly event that has drawn people from all over the Metro area. Each month new artists, music, businesses and wine are featured at participating locations.

Second Fridays is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promotion of the arts and a vibrant downtown Council Bluffs. Volunteers, donations and new business partners are always welcome! Special thanks to Dr. William Braymen D.D.S., and The Historic Park Building for his generous sponsorship. Please contact Second Fridays at 256-9511 for more information.
