WOWT provides college internship programs in most areas of interest
This is a non-paid program. Interns must be enrolled in a college program receiving credit for the internship. Once the student has been accepted for the internship, they must provide a "proof of credit" from their college or university.
Internships are offered for the following (late submissions may be considered at management discretion):
Fall semester: September - December. Resumes must be submitted by 08/31.
Spring semester: January - April. Resumes must be submitted by 11/30.
Summer semester: May - August. Resumes must be submitted by 03/31.
Internships may be available in the following departments: creative services, news, public affairs, production, or other areas as requested. Work schedules vary from fifteen (15) to twenty (20) hours per week. Most schedules are flexible, depending on the individual departments. A request for an internship should be made in the same manner as a paid position; a cover letter and resume are required from anyone interested.
