Jeff Jensen joined the Channel 6 Precision Forecasters in July of 1996 after working for television stations in Montgomery, AL, Lexington, KY and most recently at KTIV-TV in Sioux City, IA. Jeff grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and attended Iowa State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. He was awarded the American Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval in 1987. When "off duty," Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife Beth and son, Ryan, collecting books on baseball history, and believe it or not, studying severe storms! His Precision Forecasts can be seen weekdays at 4 PM and weekends on the Channel 6 News at 5 PM & 10 PM.
