John Chapman shows his versatility, and his love of sports, by covering news during the week and anchoring sports on the weekend. He was born in Alexander City, Alabama, and raised in Danville, Illinois. John has worked various positions in television, including news reporter for KMEG-TV and news reporter, assignment editor, and fill-in anchor for KTIV-TV in Sioux City, Iowa. John studied at Morningside College in Sioux City, along with Pat Persaud, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. John enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, and loves sports. He can be seen weekdays reporting the news, and on weekends, as the Channel 6 News sports anchor.
