Tracy Madden, a native of Wheaton, Illinois, Tracy received her Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University in Broadcast Journalism.
Before coming to Channel 6, Tracy was a reporter, and weekend anchor at KHGI-TV in Kearney, Nebraska. While an anchor-reporter in Kearney, Nebraska for KHGI-TV she won the prestigious Aksarben Community Service Award for a 30 minute documentary on bone marrow donors. In 2001, Tracy received a regional Edward R. Murrow award from RTNDA and a Nebraska Associated Press Broadcasters award. In 2000 she received a Nebraska Associated Press Broadcasters award and a Northwest Broadcast News Association award.
Tracy is married and has two sons, Ryan and Quinn. Tracy has been with Channel 6 for nine years. Tracy anchors the Channel 6 News, Live at 5, 6 & 10.
