Brian Mastre can be seen weekdays co-anchoring FirstNEWS Live at Four on Channel 6. He grew up across Iowa--Storm Lake, Milford, Marshalltown--and calls Clear Lake home. Brian graduated with a Speech Communications: Radio/TV degree from Southwest State University in Marshall, Minnesota. Before coming to Omaha, he worked as the evening news anchor at KIMT in Mason City, Iowa. In 2001, Brian was honored with a national Edward R. Murrow award for a story about an aging softball team. He lives in Omaha with his wife and two cats, Lois and Clark.
